NZL
July 26—28
Life can be filled with muddied or stagnant waters, but God’s life — that comes to us — is like a river that never stops flowing, bringing life and renewal wherever it goes.
In the book of Ezekiel, the prophet has a vision of a river flowing out from the temple, getting deeper and wider as it goes. Trees start growing along the banks, and there is fruit that never fails to ripen. Wherever the river flows, everything lives.
Jesus promises us that “Whoever believes in me... rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
(John 7:38)
SHOUT 2023: LIKE A RIVER is about making space in His presence to experience more of the life He has for us, so that living water will continue to flow from within us.

Food & drink
No food will be provided by the Shout Kids team in order to ensure safe care of any children with allergies or dietary requirements. We therefore ask that your child brings their own food and drink, in a labelled bag or lunchbox, as follows:
Wednesday
All groups - snacks as required and a labelled water bottle
Thursday & Friday
Spark - Lunch and a labelled water bottle
Boom - Lunch and a labelled water bottle
Ignite - Snacks and a labelled water bottle
Please note that NO NUTS are permitted within the Shout kids venues or within snacks / lunch boxes.
What to wear/bring
Boom will be doing plenty of creative and messy crafts so we advise bringing a change of t-shirt.
Ignite will be spending time outside so appropriate footwear for walking should be worn, as well as a sun hat and sunscreen applied if the weather is hot.
Offsite Activities
Exciting offsite activities have been organised for children attending Boom (5-9) and Ignite (10-14). Full details can be found in the form below, which must be completed prior to your child arriving at Shout.
If you have any questions regarding these offsite activities please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Please be aware that Ignite will also be joining the main sessions for praise and worship. They will be accompanied to/from the main auditorium and must remain with the Ignite kids leaders at all times.
To ensure that we have all the necessary information and permission to provide a safe and fun experience for your child, please complete the Shout Kids Permission Form if you have not yet done so.
You will need to complete 1 form per child attending Shout Kids.
Contact Information
A contact number was asked for at the time of registering your child. Please check that this is the correct number when you check-in your child, and then have your phone on you at all times. We will text or call you if there is a problem or a need for you to come to the Shout kids area.
Translation
To make sure all Shout kids are well looked after, we will have leaders available who speak German and French.
Photography
Please note that the Shout photography team will be capturing photos and videos during the event, including within the Shout kids areas, and these images may be used in social media and for future event promotion. If you do not want any recognizable images of your child to be used please ensure you opt for a red wristband when checking in your child.
Nappy changing / toileting process
Please ensure your child has been to the toilet or had their nappy changed prior to checking them in to Shout kids.
Toilet breaks during the session will of course be permitted, however the Shout kids leaders cannot accompany any children into a toilet cubicle or assist with intimate care. Where a child cannot toilet themselves, or is wearing a nappy, the parent/carer will be contacted.
Medication
Only emergency medication can be administered by the Shout Kids team, such as an epipen or inhaler. Any other medication should remain with you, the parent/carer, and be administered by you directly. Any medication that needs to remain with your child must be handed in to the Shout Kids team to store securely during the session and must be provided in a clear zip lock bag, labelled with the child’s name, and instructions for use including dosage information and details of any specific medical plan to follow in emergencies.
Youth aged 15 - 17 should purchase "The Wild" tickets. This includes access to "The Wild" youth sessions (afternoons), plus access to all the main sessions (morning and evening).
Translation kits will be available at Shout 2023 providing German, French and Italian translation during all main sessions.
If you require a translation kit this needs to be pre-ordered, and payment of a £25 security deposit made - which will be refunded after the event once the kit is returned in working order. Refunds will take 5 - 10 days to process.
Pre-ordered kits can be collected from the Shout Info Desk, located in the main G Live foyer. The Info Desk will be open from 18:30 on Wednesday 26th July and available throughout all conference breaks.
